    addedValue Triggers in aecc.

A Trigger is a question with a Yes or No answer that is asked when a message or gems is created or changed and an action to take if the answer is Yes. Triggers are a very powerful way to have your site react to data entry, for example, a trigger might enter a message into the site structure at a url which depends on addedValue plugin variable values.

The question is a boolean expression of addedValue variables, which may or may not be indexed.

The action is one of a set of alternatives installed by your server administrator; if none are installed, triggers are disabled. Installed actions

It's not practical to test triggers, but you may run ALL the installed triggers on a selected subset of messages, gems, members or shortcuts by using a query to select the targets and choose a trigger type appropriate to the hits from the query.
